About the program
We came up with this idea to try and help folks in our community. Your purchase of a T-shirt will go to help cover costs of medical transportation for someone who needs a ride, but cannot afford one. We recognize that for some folks in the valley, our cost is too expensive. To help offset cost of medical transportation, we sell t-shirts. Our cost to produce the T-shirts is about $5.00/shirt and we sell the shirts $25 each. The $20 profit/shirt is then put in a special account that is pulled from when someone calls and needs a ride, but cannot afford it. We ask folks who use this program to pay what they can and then we cover the difference with money earned from T-shirt sales.
A little more about the program
This program operates based off available funding, meaning the more T-shirts that are sold the more we can help others with your support. However, before we can offer subsidized medical transportation, we have to have the funds available to cover the cost of the trip.
